Background

SINCE 1880, Oneida has been a world leader in the design and manufacture of stainless steel and silver plated cutlery and tableware for the consumer and foodservice industries. The Oneida brand can be found in fine dining establishments, family restaurants and hotels around the globe.

The requirement was to provide a full software solution for all aspects of the business – incorporating management and financial accounting, order processing and fulfilment, warehouse management and factory management for Oneida; within a single operating instance of the software.

Our Solution

Initially we were able to demonstrate to Oneida the significant and varied benefits to the business by using finance for the project rather than using capital. Spreading software costs in line with the term of the license and use of the product made complete sense for Oneida.

We worked closely with the chosen software partner to ensure that the delivery of the project worked smoothly and that all payments were made in a timely manner to the satisfaction of all parties. The finance facility was delivered by one of our software specialist funders who, like the majority of our funders, was not accessible directly by the client in the UK.
